Driven by that belief, we established ROOTS Co., Ltd. on July 4th, 2013.
That date also happens to be Independence Day in the United States. When Japan once gifted cherry trees to the U.S., America responded with dogwood trees as a symbol of gratitude.
Inspired by that, we chose the dogwood as our company flower—a reminder to always cherish the spirit of giving back to our customers.
We take a glocal (global & local) approach, working to create jobs in developing countries, reduce inequalities, and support local communities.
More than anything, we want to see our customers, employees, and their families smiling. We want them to live rich, fulfilling lives.
